Boston University Semester, RE 140: Fundamentals of Real Estate Transactions, April 5-June 7, 2021

This course will be held on Monday nights from 6pm to 8:45pm on Zoom. It is part of the BU Certificate Real Estate Program. The course will focus on basic aspects of commercial real estate transactions including the role of the real estate broker, developing letters of intents, terms and negotiations of offers to lease and purchase, identification of common terms in agreement, due diligence, financing, title issues and issues on lease transactions. Homework, group assignments and exams are part of the course. Student should be proficient with a financial calculator.
