MA NAIOP: Oct. 22, 2021, Advanced Negotiation Strategies, Is it Art, Science or Luck?

Course runs from 9 am to 12 pm, Oct. 22, 2021 on more advanced issues in negotiating leases or sales. If you find yourself with “unreasonable people” in negotiations or find that the other side is not giving you what you want or is a bully negotiator and its win-lose, then this is course is for you. Key characteristics of 7 negotiation models and models on negotiators will be presented. The attendee will learn how to identify characteristics, learn the powers of successful negotiators, identify negotiating strategies and understand what and why certain tactics will NOT work in certain situations. Negotiating videos and class assignments included. Attendees will be given the opportunity to use the negotiating tools in a mock negotiating session. The objective is to teach the attendee and a more clinical approach to negotiating and to eliminate the emotional approach.
