This Zoom class runs over 3 days (July 13, 15 and 20, 2021 from 9 am to 12 pm. The material covers a wide range of topics for the commercial real estate practitioner including: leasing definitions and terminology, rental rates and forms of escalators, developing a letter of intent, overview of a lease document, Statute of Frauds, GAAP v. IFRS, landlord and tenant key differences in lease negotiating, various lease clauses important to a landlord, tenant and lender, CV19 impact on lease clauses, etc. There are group assignments and homework. There are mock negotiations between class members as well and competitive surprises.
